It's been a bit of time since the last post. Not that I have been Idle. Oh contrary!

I spent Saturday with my good friend Trav and my father in-law Austin destroying my basement wall to install a new 42" wide steel door. The old door was in need of replacement so I figured I'd kill two birds with one stone and put in a door large enough to extract a 17ft boat.

We (Travor) cut the wall with a rented concrete saw which by the way performed excellently. Preparing for and doing that took the morning. The rest of the day was spent installing the door and insulating it.

Sunday was spent cleaning up the massive mess we made in the door job. I finally had to cave in and burn my pile of scrap wood that was now crowding my alley.
