Misc... seat supports
While epoxy dries and in stolen moments, I have taken time to cut and fit the seat supports where they but into the planking. Right now they are supported by the frames fore and aft. but the ends at the hull need support as well. Especially knowing that I will be jumping aboard and others as well. The boat needs to take the punishment. These supports are only 20mm x 40mm blocks cut to fit loosly between the frames afainst the planking. I cut these into 2 pieces to match the curvature of the boat. Otherwise when the screws tightened through the planking there would be a forced flat spot. Over such a short span the block of wood will not bend, so the plank bends instead. This certainly will not do.
